1) Sizing

How do I choose the correct size?

Adult sizes are unisex.
Kid's sizes are shirt sizes, not age-related sizes.

Do you have Toddler sizes?

We do offer Toddler sizes in the Short Sleeve T-Shirts ONLY. The sizes available are 2T, 3T, and 4T. Please access our T-Shirt Sizing Guide for more information.

Will these garments shrink?

Our Sports Grey T-shirts and Onesies are Pre-shrunk heavyweight 90% cotton / 10% polyester blend. The sweatshirts and sweatpants are a heavyweight 50% cotton / 50% polyester blend.

Why are the sweatshirt sizes bigger than the T-shirt sizes?

The T-shirts are straight-cut for a closer fit while the Sweatshirts are wider and fuller to fit over another shirt.

Is the Hat fitted?

No. Our hats are adjustable. They are 100% cotton twill with a cloth strap and brass buckle that can be adjusted for fit. Click here for a sizing guide with additional information.

Do I have a choice of colors on the varsity jackets?

Our top of the line varsity jackets are available in Navy Blue with white trim only. These are available in adult sizes. A chenille letter featuring the first letter of your family name will be sewn on the front of the jacket. Your family name and the word University will be featured on the back. These quality jackets are made in the USA and are dry clean only.

 

2) Shipping

How are orders shipped?

We use the US Postal Services' Priority Mail or UPS Ground to deliver our packages.
Shipping to Alaska or Hawaii is shipped by Priority Mail.

How soon will I receive my order?

Orders generally require 2 to 3 weeks for production. Shipping time is additional. Whether by UPS or USPS, shipping time will be 2 to 6 business days depending on distance from our facility.

Can I ship to two different addresses?

Our system allows for one shipping address per order. Shipping to more than one address requires a separate order for each address.

Can this order be rushed?

Orders generally require 2 to 3 weeks for production. The names are printed according to a carefully structured print schedule. We cannot expedite this process.

How many email messages will I receive?

You will receive a confirmation when we process your order. A second email containing your tracking number will be sent when the order leaves our facility. Email addresses are for our use only. We do not rent or share your email address.

Can I check the status of my order?

You may check the status of your order online. To access this site, go to www.aotees.com/status.php. You will need to provide both your 12-digit order confirmation number (including hyphens) and your billing zip code. Once the order has been received into our system, the production process will begin. After the production process has been completed, which can require approximately 2 to 3 weeks, the status will change to "Shipped" and the tracking information will be provided.

 

3) Names

Can any name be requested?

Yes. Alumni Originals offers University Apparel printed to order with any family name you request as long as it meets our ordering criteria.

What is a Featured Name?

Each month a selection of family names is offered at a special discounted price for a limited time.

How do you choose a Featured Name?

The names are chosen by our Marketing Department using specific criteria. We research each name to insure that it is not associated with an actual university. Our customer service representatives do not know in advance which names will be featured.

Am I still able to order after the deadline date?

For Featured Names, the deadline is extended for an additional two weeks to allow for mailing variations and orders sent by mail. After that extension, the discounted price offer ends but the name can still be requested as a custom name at the standard price.

Can I place an order for two or more names at once?

Yes, as long as the order is shipping to only one address. If you need to ship to multiple addresses, you will need to place an order for each shipping address.

How did you get my name and address?

We use a mailing service that sends our cards to people whose last name is one of our Featured Names each month. We do not have a database of these names and addresses.

How can I get my name removed from your mailing list?

We would be happy to accommodate your request. Please see our Privacy Policy for the appropriate contact information.


4) Additional Information

May I exchange or return items?

Exchanges and Returns should be made within 90 days of receiving your order as long as the items have not been worn or laundered, and the original tags are still attached. An Exchange and Return Form is enclosed in every shipment for your convenience. It is located on the back of your packing slip.

May I make Changes or Additions to an Existing Order?

If you need to make any changes or additions to an order after you have placed it, please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-854-4942 within 1 business day of placing your order. They will need your order confirmation number or your name and address to access your order. Please note that your order may begin processing immediately after you place your order, and it may not be possible to change items on an existing order. After 1 business day, you will need to place a new order for additional apparel.

What are my Payment Options?

For telephone, internet or FAX orders we accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover and American Express. For mail orders we accept the same credit cards or money orders and checks made payable to Alumni Originals.

How will the charge to my credit card account appear on my statement?

Charges on your credit card account will appear as a sale from Alumni Originals.

Do I have a choice of colors?

The T-shirts and Sweatshirts are always available in Sports Grey and are custom printed with navy blue and tan ink. The Hat is available only in khaki with a navy blue bill and is embroidered with navy blue thread. From time to time, we may offer an alternate color available in selected names. These colors will not be available for all names.

Are these products made in the USA?

We purchase our apparel from distributors in the USA. The blank merchandise is manufactured outside the USA. The shirts are custom printed and the hats are embroidered at our facility in Grove City, PA.

Additional Information for the Sweatpants:

Our Sports Grey and Navy Blue sweatpants are sold as an accessory to our T-shirts and Sweatshirts. Printing is not available for this item. Only the adult size sweatpants include an inner drawstring in the waistband, the kidís sizes do not for safety concerns.

How long have you been in business?

Alumni Originals is a subsidiary of Earth Sun Moon Trading Company which has been in business in Grove City, PA since 1996. We have been offering University apparel since 2002.

Do you have a catalog?

Since the Featured Names for the University Apparel are offered for only a limited time, we do not have an Alumni Originals catalog. However, along with your order you will receive a catalog from our parent company, Earth Sun Moon Trading Company illustrating a selection of high quality, novelty T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Hats.
